Felipe "Pipe" A. Muyshondt Canales
Felipe Andres Muyshondt, aka "Pipe", age 7 of Missouri City, Texas entered into eternal rest on September 16, 2020. Born on August 10th, 2013 in Castle Rock, Colorado, Pipe lived his valiant life in El Salvador and the United States of America and was surrounded by love throughout by his adoring brothers, Fernando and Marcelo, loving parents Patricia and Gerardo; maternal grandparents Pitty and Lito; paternal Neto and Neta; uncles Emilio, Rene, Ernesto and Federico; aunts Faye and Karla; and cousins Addy and Ollie.
For over 5 years, he fought brain cancer with incredible valor, an effervescent smile and always with a “thumbs up”. He touched people across the globe and became an inspiration and symbol for childhood cancer under the hashtag #TodosSomosPipe
Pipe loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He enjoyed video games, superheroes, Legos, movies, dancing to music and snuggling in bed with his family and cozy blankets. Under the tutelage of Chris Evans, he became an honorary Avenger and then went on to embody the life of a true superhero.
His positive energy and high spirits warmed the hearts of every doctor and nurse he came in contact with at MD Anderson, Texas Children's Hospital, and Hospital de Diagnostico.
Throughout his life, Pipe was showered with love by close friends, The Children's World School, Escuela Americana, A Shelter for Cancer Families, Make a Wish Foundation, C.D.Aguila, Causeplay Alliance Project, Operation SnowStorm, the Missouri City Police & Fire Departments, bike organizations, and Memorial Hermann Hospice.
While he will be missed forever, his impact on the world is eternal. If you're moved to do something in honor of Pipe, please consider donating to A Shelter for Cancer Families, the organization who helped make his final months even more meaningful.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 21, 2020, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas. A Rosary will begin at 5:00pm.
