A Shelter for Cancer Families takes our responsibility to be thoughtful stewards of the funds and families entrusted to our care very seriously. As such, our Board of Directors regularly reviews its policies to ensure that appropriate measures are adopted and maintained to ensure the utmost accountability for our charitable organization. We want to make certain that the cancer families, health care providers, donors and the public at large have confidence that A Shelter for Cancer Families’ governance practices, operations, management and/or communications are not only legal but fair, honest and ethical. We hold ourselves to the highest of standards, our own.
We provide for responsible oversight of our organization's marketing, program implementation, accounting, budget and fundraising practices to safeguard your information and to be sure that all of ASCF's resources are maximized to advance our mission. As an organization, we believe this to be imperative to advance support of ASCF as well as to advance philanthropy and charitable giving in general.
ASCF consistently aims to foster an environment and organizational culture that reflects our values of inclusion, acceptance, respect, privacy and dignity while making sure that the interests of ASCF and the cancer community are served to the best of our ability and according to our stated mission.
