Monica Agostinelli
Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director

Monica is a transplant from “Corporate America” whose heart for service has consistently pulled her toward the nonprofit sector. Her strong business acumen, strategic financial planning skills, experience leading capital campaigns, background in bioengineering and personal passion for ASCF’s mission uniquely prepare her to serve ASCF as we grow and evolve.  Having multiple close encounters with family members and friends impacted by the life-changing diagnoses of cancer, she is inspired by the work of ASCF.  Here she hopes to continue to build and expand the reach of the organization and the resources that are available for those seeking a shelter from the storms that cancer can wage on a family.

Most recently, Agostinelli worked as Vice President of Internal Audit for Waste Management. Monica and her husband Chris have two children - Aiden and Annalise - who are the entertainment and joy of their lives.

Tiffany Criswell
Housing Manager
With a passion for serving others and an eye for detail, Tiffany Criswell helps assist families housed at A Shelter for Cancer Families’ residences on Drake. Tiffany coordinates details like making sure that each family receives a cancer survivor starter pack in their “home away from home” upon arrival. She also ensures that each residence is sanitized and that appliances and housewares are in good condition prior to the arrival of each new family.

When not assisting our ASCF team and families, Tiffany enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Madelon McGrenera
Manager of Operations

An Austin native, Madelon McGrenera later graduated from Texas Tech University and eventually her family made their way to Houston now calling H-town home. Madelon served in a number of volunteer roles for ASCF prior to joining A Shelter for Cancer Families' staff. Her vast experience, professional polish & attention to detail have enabled Madelon to provide a much needed level of support to ASCF. In her role with ASCF, Madelon helps oversee the implementation of ASCF's strategic approach to fundraising which includes major gifts, annual fund, planned giving, corporate donations, grant solicitation, capital campaigns, special events & in-kind resources.

When not working for ASCF, Madelon & her husband Ryan can be found cheering for son Grady on the ball field or supporting daughter Reese in her acting & singing endeavors.
