sandy smith brown

Sandy Smith Brown, beloved mother, "MiMi", aunt, sister and friend went to be with her Creator on Thursday, May 7 after a long and courageous battle with glioblastoma. She was surrounded by the love of her family.

Preceded in death by her beloved grandson Wyatt, Sandy cherished her time with her children Eric and Kevin, her daughter in love Ashley and her two grand babies Wyatt and Emma Ray Hope. No doubt, she was happiest when surrounded by her family with one of her grand babies in her arms.

Sandy was a blessing to all who knew her. She was a woman of unending faith, a tried and true Clemson Tigers fan, a loyal friend and a child of God. While those she left behind will miss her smile, laugh, hugs and sense of humor, those who know Sandy best know that she could not wait to hold "MiMi's Wyatt" again in her arms.

In lieu of flowers, Sandy's family requests donations to A Shelter for Cancer Families (ASCF). For years, ASCF has been a friend to the Brown family and we know that she would want to ensure that those who celebrate her life, do so while ensuring that families like hers continue to receive the tangible support they need as they make the cancer journey.
