SHORT-TERM HOUSING 

A Home Away From Home

We provide housing for up to 90 days for families regardless of where they are on their cancer journey. We respect their time, dignity, and privacy, while providing options and amenities that meet the specific needs of a family living through cancer.

What you can expect when you walk through our doors…

  • Fully-furnished individual residences conveniently located close to the Texas Medical Center

  • Space that allows for guests and families to visit or stay

  • Private kitchen and washer/dryer in each unit

  • Access to amenities, retailers and restaurants to provide all the comforts of home

Who is eligible to stay?

  • We open our doors wide to all cancer families regardless of age, cancer type, income or where they are on their cancer journey.

  • Applicants must have a permanent address greater than 50 miles from the Texas Medical Center

Housing Program Application

All families seeking short-term housing during cancer care must complete an application before consideration. ASCF operates 12 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom apartments.
