In a bold effort to improve and expand upon what A Shelter for Cancer Families (ASCF) is able to offer families making the cancer journey, we are pleased to announce the purchase of our new home at 4115 Drake, Houston, Texas 77005.

During this time of transition (expected to last until November 1st), ASCF will be moving all operations to our new home. In addition to starting physical construction on the premises, we are streamlining our housing application process to better serve you. During this time, we apologize that we will be unable to accept new housing applications. We anticipate that this “pause” in the application process will be brief but essential to ensure that the level of quality services ASCF offers to our families is in keeping with our stated values. Thank you for your understanding.

If you completed an application prior to September 24, 2019, you will remain on our “wait list” should one of our limited residences become available during this time of transition. Please feel free to check back with us regarding your status. In the meantime, because availability is LIMITED during this period, we encourage all applicants to make alternative housing preparations.

In the interim, please let us know if we may serve your family through our navigator program information for that can be found at NAVIGATION.

Thank you again for your patience and grace. We look forward to serving you even better in the near future.
